Does my recorder need a static IP or open ports?
No. For Dahua recorders with P2P turned on, Nexsight connects by serial number through the vendor’s P2P cloud. You need no static IP, no dynamic DNS and no port forwarding.
Which devices does Nexsight support?
Dahua recorders and cameras with P2P, and any camera or recorder with RTSP that the server can reach. More brands are on the way.
How do I watch on my phone?
Open your workspace address in the phone’s browser and choose "Add to Home Screen". Nexsight then runs like an app, with no app store download.
How are recorder passwords protected?
Device credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the server and never sent to the browser. Every view uses a short-lived access token.
What happens when the trial ends?
Pick a plan and pay inside the app. Your devices, team and settings stay as they are.
What is a perpetual licence?
You pay once and keep the plan’s limits and features for good, with standard platform updates included.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes. VAT is added at checkout and the electronic invoice is sent to your email.
